A city cannot becoming intelligent only if its people are able to live together, to come together in order to realize smart ideas leading to sustainable development of their city.
This objective will remain quasi-utopic as long as the urban segregations are not eradicate. This segregation can take various forms: social class segregation, communitarian segregation and even gender segregation.
Guy Di Meo indicates that sexist urban segregation refers to the « hidden walls » that women bypass daily after incorporating the prohibited area boundaries of public space.
Only a strong policy of educational, social and cultural support will extirpate people from the clutches of this scourge that slows down the intelligent development of the city. More citizenship is a target to reach.
